01 — The Challenge

Tectonic produced award-winning architecture but presented it through a dated, generic brand that undersold the ambition of the work. To win larger civic and cultural commissions, the studio needed an identity with the gravity of its buildings.

Our buildings spoke for themselves. Our brand was whispering when it needed to be confident.

02 — The Insight

Architecture is the art of structure and light. We built an identity on that tension — a rigorous grid disrupted by bold, sculptural moments — mirroring how Tectonic treats space itself.

03 — The Work

A structural typographic system, an editorial photography direction and a website that treats projects like a gallery — generous, immersive and quietly cinematic, with scroll-driven reveals that let the architecture breathe.

The new brand helped Tectonic shortlist for its first national museum commission within six months of launch.

Picasso understood our work better than we could articulate it ourselves. The brand finally matches the buildings.
